Yorkshire Terriers are adorable little dogs. Although they are among the smallest of breeds of dogs, they pack a big dog personality. Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies, are always looking for the next adventure. Full of energy, they will constantly keep you on your toes. Yorkies can be suspicious of foreign sounds and “intruders.” Their strong sense of hearing allows them to hear someone approaching long before a person can.
Yorkshire Terriers make excellent watchdogs because of their great sense of hearing and because they are suspicious of just about everything and everyone. Sometimes their barking can become quite excessive. In this video, a group of three-week-old Yorkshire Terriers will melt your heart.
The video starts with three brothers playfully rolling around and playing with each other. The narrator explains the Yorkie pups only weigh one pound each. That’s tiny! While the boy Yorkies are wrestling each other and learning how to be great hunters, their sister Lo is far more focused. Check out the video below:
Yorkie girl Lo is seen marching around like a soldier. Marching drums play in the background as Lo determinedly prances around the room. Lo is like her mom Gidget, who is the household watchdog. Lo then suddenly stops marching. She hears something suspicious. So does Gidget.
Mom Gidget is on high alert as she hops onto the windowsill and spies a few unwelcomed birds in the yard. The group of birds is making a racket and pecking around the grass. Gidget does her job by immediately barking at the birds and letting them know they are trespassing.
The Yorkie mom is frustrated because she is trapped indoors and is outnumbered by the birds. That’s when feisty little Lo offers to help. The little Yorkie puppy gives it her all with the cutest little barks ever. The brothers hear her and join in. It’s just about the cutest thing you’ll watch this year.
