What is it with toddlers and dogs that get to us? It’s a combination that serves all the feels, and we are all for it. Get ready for that dose of happy vibes brought on by these two.

This toddler’s name is Dax; with his blonde hair and chubby cheeks, he’s already a force to reckon with in the adorable meter. In contrast to his delicate features is his pal, a giant, furry Bernese Mountain Dog.

Today, they’re on the living room floor, chilling as friends do. We assume it’s Dax’s mom taking the video because we could hear her voice in the background.

Dax had a massive box of dog food in his chubby little hands, and it’s the good stuff. We haven’t encountered any dog who said no to milk bones just yet, so that’s proof of our claim.

The toddler started to dig into the box, coming up with treats to give his friend. He reached in and promptly gave one to the doggo. The furry pet gobbled it all up, careful not to bite his buddy’s hand.

Dax didn’t wait for his pet to finish the treat; as soon as the dog took what’s in his hand, he reached back into the box to take a couple more. It made the dog eat double time, and it’s hilarious.

The little back and forth happened, and then when the tot could no longer find any treat, he took some bits on the floor to give his pal. Aww, that’s so sweet of you, baby!

Then Dax touched his fur friend’s nose, telling him he might not have any treats for him now. Dax reached in one more time and found a couple more to the dog’s delight, and that made his day.

Excellent work, Dax! Tone down a bit on the treat-giving, okay? We know you love him, but easy does it.
